I can often tell just by lifting up a corner on my mat. If this happens to you, there’s something you can do. Before unloading your mat, press your “C” button again. But there is something you can do to get more out a mat that’s losing its stick! If you pay attention, your Cricut always puts items to cut in the upper left corner of your mat by default. This means if you move things to be cut to other parts of mat, it’s likely to be more sticky in those areas. For example, try moving things to the center or other corner in the mat preview to use your mat more evenly. And also be sure to turn your mat around 180° and use the other end, too!
